Every few weeks, we try to visit somewhere new. The thought is – “it’s only an island…how many places can there be?”. Well, we are quickly learning that we will never see everything. We’ve been to some beaches, tropical rainforests, the picturesque center of the island and dozens of small towns. We’ve even driven the perimeter of the island over a one week period. When we start to add to our “places to go” list, it is quickly becoming apparent that we will never be able to see it all….even though the island is only 100 x 35 miles.

We have identified many “off-the-grid….behind-the-scenes” places to share with you that you would not see, without an 'Insider'. We aim to keep finding more. It is fun for us….and will be fun for you, too.

As we are centrally located you can easily visit the crystal clear rivers of Maunabo or a trip to El Yunque National Rainforest or Playa Luquillo, historic Old San Juan, Fajardo, Ponce and the healing hot springs of Coamo! Enjoy a ride into the scenic mountains. Take a trip to the well-known Lechoneras (whole roasted pulled pork restaurants) in Guavate. All within 15 min to 1hr 1/2 by car.
